It was encouraging when the final tour of the season was announced and it quickly became a sold out tour. Winter is coming. It will whip and howl its way through the Tri-state, keeping many of us home stirring our pots of comfort food while hoping for warmer days ahead. Come spring, ECT will once again offer enticing food tours and I’m hoping you, dear reader, will be on them to meet and mingle over tasty fare within the safety of a group of other foodistas.
Yes, that' s a bowl of southern style chicken and dumplings and a side of fried okra.
Ssssshhhhh! Don’t be too surprised when we pop up with a brand new indoor food tour at Tropicana at some point before springtime. We’ll let them put the finishing touches on the new building and get their restaurants all up and running well before venturing over there.
Private tours are not affected by the short term
shut down of the public tours. Those already scheduled will happen and hopefully more will sign up.
Private tours make a great gift for groups of any kind, whether for families, co-workers, customer appreciation or team building experiences.

In the meantime, the wheels of change will be spinning freely. Some ideas will stick, others not so much. I’d like to hear your ideas on the subject: If Evansville Culinary Tours were yours to nurture and grow, what would you do?
